About the role
Mater Group are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Finance team! This permanent, full-time role is based at Mater Newstead and will provide first‑line technical assistance and guidance to Mater end users of the Finance and Operating Systems (FOS) platforms.
Salary range: $46.96 - $51.73 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for resolving issues, managing service requests, and supporting user adoption and effective use of the underlying systems, with the core ERP being Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
Act as the central point of contact for FOS users, receiving, recording & resolving incidents and service requests via various channels (ITSM ticketing tool, email, phone, web).
Process tickets in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, including new or modified user access requests, amendments or closures of financial dimensions, and general user queries.
Maintain and contribute to the development of process documentation for all systems and workflows managed by the FOS Team.
Interpret financial data such as financial reports, merchant statements, and ledger transactions to support troubleshooting, issue analysis and assisting in the company’s month end financial close processes.
Deliver training or walkthroughs for new features, processes, or system changes to ensure users understand updates and best practices.
About you
Tertiary Qualification /diploma in accounting and /or Information Systems or related field.
ITIL certification (highly desirable).
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 FinOps (highly desirable).
3+ years of progressive experience in a Financial Systems function or related field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and other finance systems.
