Mater Research are looking for a Research Coordinator to join the Respiratory, Infection and Oncology Clinical Trial Unit team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.

Salary range: $42.24 - $49.07 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As the Research Coordinator, you will be supporting the end-to-end delivery of clinical trials focused on respiratory and infectious diseases within the Respiratory, Infection and Oncology Clinical Trial Unit, including study start-up, participant coordination, data management, and close-out. The role ensures all activities comply with study protocols, ethics and governance approvals, ICH GCP, and Australian regulatory requirements.
About you
Essential
A relevant bachelor degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior staff.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient Computer Literacy
Research Nurses: minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
Coordinators: minimum 2 years of relevant clinical trials experience
Desirable:
Strong understanding of clinical research protocols, regulatory frameworks, and ethical guidelines (e.g., GCP, TGA requirements).
Ability to independently apply theoretical knowledge to solve problems and improve workflows.
Experience coordinating research projects and managing clinical trial activities.
Experience contributing to policy and process development for clinical research teams.
