Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is looking for an experienced and motivated Administration Manager to play a key role in supporting exceptional patient care in a permanent full-time position. Salary range: $62.74 - $67.20 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As the Administration Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping the patient experience and ensuring the smooth operation of administration services across the hospital. Leading a dedicated team, you'll drive service excellence, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions that support both exceptional patient care and operational success.
Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, develop and mentor staff, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the hospital. This is a rewarding role for a proactive leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving services, and making a meaningful impact within a values-driven healthcare organisation.
About you
You are a proactive and experienced administration professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality services. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong administration and information systems management expertise
- Sound financial acumen, including knowledge of healthcare funding arrangements and terminology
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance service delivery
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline (highly regarded but not required)
