About the role

Mater Mothers’ Hospital is seeking applications from passionate, and committed Registered Midwives to join our Permanent Roster Relief pool.

Shifts are worked across all wards on a 24/7 rotating roster at Mater Mothers’ Hospital. Flexibility and availability are essential for the permanent roster relief team, offering the opportunity to gain experience across both public and private areas.

Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits!  

What you’ll be doing

You will provide safe, high-quality care across multiple areas within Mater Mothers’, supporting a range of clinical needs. Your flexibility and experience will allow you to adapt across different wards and be a valued member of our team.

About you

To be considered suitable for the MMH Casual Pool you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration (without restriction)
• Minimum 12 months post graduate Midwifery and or Nursing/Midwifery experience
• Recent hospital-based experience
• Flexibility to perform in various wards, adaptability to seamlessly integrate into diverse teams and work under different NUMs
• Availability to work a full-time / part-time rotating roster
• Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
