About the role
Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is hiring a Digital Facilities Partner to join their team. In this role you will provide both leadership and technical expertise to drive the effective delivery of IT services at Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast.
Leading a small, dedicated front-line team, you will offer guidance and operational oversight to ensure exceptional customer support. Your role is pivotal in fostering scalable, reliable, and high-quality IT support that consistently meets the evolving needs at Mater.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on the Gold Coast .
Salary range: $54.75 - $59.38 plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Serve as a subject matter expert across digital, audio-visual, biomedical, and built environment technologies
Manage work queues, allocate resources, and provide hands-on support during high-demand periods
Oversee IT asset management, ensuring compliance with processes and guidelines
Build and maintain strong relationships with site leadership through clear, consistent communication
Lead knowledge management initiatives, including mentoring staff and maintaining self-service resources
Support incident, problem, and change management activities, including after-hours on-call support
Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement
Contribute to technical design, escalate complex issues, and provide Level 3 support
Identify training needs, deliver development programs, and maintain the Service Centre skills matrix
Coordinate customer feedback surveys, analyse results, and recommend service enhancements
About you
Relevant tertiary degree in IT or related field
ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification required
Additional certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional advantageous
Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital service delivery or corporate IT support
Proven experience supporting service desk, audio-visual, and desktop environments in large, complex organisations
Strong ability to provide leadership and mentor a small team
Ability to train and support advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
Commitment to delivering service excellence and fostering team development
