About the role
Mater Hospital Springfield has an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our Outpatients team in a permanent part-time position (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) .

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As an integral member of our Outpatients team, you will provide safe, patient-centred nursing care while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
Deliver delegated nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Perform patient assessments and accurately communicate clinical findings
Implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing interventions within your scope of practice
Assist with patient education, discharge planning and health promotion activities
Advocate for patients by supporting informed decision-making and compassionate care
Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety and clinical documentation
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing service excellence
Collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, allied health and administrative teams
Participate in professional development, education and continuous learning opportunities
About you
You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively and enjoy building positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike. You will also have:
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and continuous professional development.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
A positive, adaptable approach with a willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.
