About the role
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for an enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the Surgical Inpaitents Unit in this permanent, part-time position working 16hrs per week. This role works day shifts only.
Salary range: $37.93 - $39.04 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will support the nursing team to continue in the provision of expert care to patients who are seeking excellent standards of nursing care at all times. Your enthusiasm and skills will see you seamlessly integrate into this outstanding team, assisting to provide an exceptional level of care and to hit the ground running.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will have:
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or working towards completion
Previous experience in a surgical ward will be highly regarded
Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with other health professionals, patients and relatives/carers
Skills to assist with the management of stock
