Scheduling Team Leader – Southern Region
- Full time permanent hybrid working role overseeing South West Sydney, Illawarra/Shoalhaven, Goulburn and Canberra

As the Scheduling Team Leader for the Southern Region you will lead your team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both our clients and staff by putting our people first. You will support your team to develop rosters that meet our clients’ needs. You will work closely with the Area Managers, Care Facilitators and care workers to support the delivery of high-quality care and services that support our client’s independence, health, and well-being.
The successful candidate will ideally live in one of the covered regions.
A typical day includes:
- Scheduling services for care workers to meet customer needs, worker skill level and availability, maximising best fit for the customer and business
- Allocating work to care workers in a timely manner according to their skill set and geographical location
- Ensure that all services are covered and workers are fully utilised minimising overtime and downtime
- Understand the qualifications of care workers and match with the requirements of the customers and carers
- Roster day to day urgent situations as they arise in a timely manner
About You
- You thrive on problem-solving!
- You will have experience and knowledge in the allocation and scheduling of services across large teams.
- Demonstrated experience within an aged care or similar environment as well as previous experience leading teams
- You will have high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- You have excellent problem solving and time management skills
- You're able to make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of Home Care programs and service delivery models would be ideal.
