Cook Up a Storm: Join BaptistCare as a Facility Cook at our Glendale Lodge home in Elderslie!

About the Role:

As a Facility Cook, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents by preparing and delivering nutritious, delicious meals. Working closely with the Chef Manager, you’ll support the kitchen team and ensure high standards of food service.

This position is 56 hours per fortnight, working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (10:00am-5:30pm) with a rate varying from $30.31 - $34.89/hr dependent upon experience and qualifications.

About You:

To be considered, you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Experience in commercial cooking for large groups.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with the elderly and enhancing their dining experience.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with WHS standards.
