About the role
BaptistCare George Forbes House is seeking Carers to join their team on a permanent part time working 60 hours per fortnight. As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts.
Duties may include:
- Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
- Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
- OR willing to complete Certificate- Traineeships on offer to eligible candidates
- We encourage Nursing students to apply
