This popular home contains 86 general care beds featuring ensuites, large built-in wardrobes and emergency-monitoring systems for your safety and security. Our beds are ideally suited to anyone looking for quality care or respite options within a friendly, tight-knit community.
You can enjoy the convenience of our on-site computer room, gym, hairdressing and beauty services, barbeque, café, activity and various entertainment spaces. Or you may prefer to relax in the courtyard gardens with a good book or iPad, taking advantage of our free Wi-Fi.
About the role
As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts.
Duties may include:
- Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (desirable)
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
- Experience working with residents living with Dementia will be highly regarded
