About the Role:
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves to keep things running smoothly? As a Maintenance Supervisor at BaptistCare, you’ll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy. You will tackling a variety of tasks that keep our site in tip-top shape including the below ;
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
- Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager and Village Manager on budget planning and asset management.
- Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
- Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.

About You:
To be considered, you will have:
- Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
- Trade experience
- Experience managing maintenance staff
- Hands-on property maintenance experience.
- Understanding of operational budget processes.
- Experience managing property-related contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) - desirable
- Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment
