About the Role:

Our new 130 bed Griffith Centre in Canberra is conveniently located near the CBD, Lake Burley Griffin, shopping precincts and local parks. This energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building has been designed to ensure we can meet the care needs of the local community now and into the future.

As a Catering assistant, your duties will include:

  • Serve food and beverages
  • Clean kitchen/dining/café areas and equipment
  • Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable)
  • Assist with food preparation and reheating meals
  • Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time
  • Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program

About You:

  • Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience
  • Understanding of and alignment with our values
