Your role as Case Worker is to provide the highest possible standard of support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma informed care framework.

About You:

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum)
  • Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
  • Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation
  • Extensive experience working in a trauma informed, client-centred way
  • Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check
  • Current drivers licence required

  • Excellent communication skills verbally and written
  • Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations
  • Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management
