About the role

  • Support a diverse range of gatherings from leadership conferences and staff forums to celebrations, and launches . 

  • Manage logistics like registrations, travel, accommodation, venue setup, catering and supplier bookings with precision and flair. 

  • Liaise with dignitaries, VIPs, and stakeholders to ensure every detail meets expectations. 

  • Assist with on site delivery, traveling (locally and interstate) as needed to make sure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after the event. 

  • Maintain event documentation, schedules and records so everything stays on track. 

  • Partner with the Events & Communications Manager to deliver an exciting annual events calendar. 

This role is part time (3 or 4 days a week), maximum term for 12 months and involves local and interstate travel to attend and support events. The successful incumbent will be required to be flexible with working hours as some events are scheduled after hours.

About You: 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in event administration, coordination, or a similar support role. 

  • Demonstrated administrative, organisational, and multi-tasking skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines. 

  • Commitment to confidentiality  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to work with organisational systems and AI-enabled tools. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 

  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours to support events. 

  • Alignment with BaptistCare’s mission, values, and Christian identity.
