The Opportunity
Step into a role where your expertise truly shapes how care is delivered across Australia. As our Rostering Optimisation Consultant, you’ll partner with residential sites nationwide to bring clarity, confidence, and consistency to workforce planning. You’ll be the trusted advisor leaders turn to for smart rostering solutions, operational insights, and practical support that makes a meaningful difference on the ground.
In this role, you’ll elevate rostering practices through expert guidance, hands on troubleshooting, and tailored coaching. You’ll analyse trends, improve workforce utilisation, strengthen compliance, and help sites optimise their care minutes and staffing strategies. You’ll also play a key part in national transformation work—most notably our exciting move to a single tenancy UKG environment—where your ideas and experience will influence the future of rostering at scale. You'll also provide occasional short-term roster coverage to keep things running smoothly.
If you enjoy problem solving, collaborating with passionate leaders, and driving improvements that directly support frontline care teams, this is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make your mark.

- Proven ability to train, coach, and support staff with varying levels of technological and operational proficiency.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes.

- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A Genuine alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission.
- Residential aged care experience will be highly regarded.
- A commitment to travel, including inter-state, as required.
