Monday and Tuesday, 8:30am – 4:30pm Flexibility required to cover additional days for staff sick leave and annual leave.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and people‑focused Administration Officer to be the welcoming presence at Shalom Centre. In this meaningful and varied role, you will support residents, families, staff, and visitors while ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our reception and administrative functions.

Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing enquiries, hosting tours of the facility, supporting client administration, and assisting with general office tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys purposeful work, thrives in a busy reception environment, and values being part of a caring, community‑centred team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A warm, professional, and welcoming presence

  • Experience in administration or customer service

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidence using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently

  • A genuine interest in supporting older Australians

  • Availability to work Monday and Tuesday, with flexibility to cover additional days as required
