We are seeking a Policy Harmonisation Specialist to play a critical national role in strengthening policy consistency, governance and assurance across our Home Care service stream. 

About the Role 

As part of our Innovation & Quality Division, you will contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of safe, high quality, person centred services. 

Reporting to the Head of Policy & Frameworks, you will lead the development, review and harmonisation of policies, procedures and work instructions for Home Care, ensuring they are clear, practical and aligned with legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements. 

This is a 12 month maximum term opportunity and can be worked from any of our national shared services office locations – Perth, Melbourne , Sydney , Davenport and Adelaide.  

Your work directly enables consistency, compliance and confidence across BaptistCare, supporting teams to deliver safe and effective care every day. 

Your Impact 

You will: 

  • Lead national policy harmonisation across multiple service streams 

  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, accessible documentation 

  • Identify and resolve gaps, duplication and inconsistencies in policies 

  • Strengthen policy governance, review cycles and documentation frameworks 

  • Support audit readiness, accreditation and regulatory assurance 

  • Provide expert guidance to leaders on policy interpretation and application 

  • Use data, audit findings and feedback to continuously improve documentation 

Your work will ensure policies are compliant, practical, usable, and embedded in everyday service delivery.

About You: 

You are a collaborative and detail oriented specialist who can bring clarity to complexity and influence outcomes in a large, multi service organisation. You are passionate about quality, consistency and improving how organisations deliver care through strong governance foundations

You will bring: 

  • Experience in policy development, governance or documentation in regulated environments 

  • Strong ability to interpret legislation and translate it into operational practice 

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information 

  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills across diverse and complex environments 

  • Experience supporting compliance, audits or accreditation frameworks 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant health, clinical, policy, or governance-related discipline, or equivalent experience is expected with Postgraduate qualifications in governance, leadership, public health, or related field desired.
