About the Role

As a Carer at Aminya Centre, you’ll support residents to live well by providing warm, person‑centred care grounded in dignity, respect and genuine connection. You’ll assist with daily living activities, encourage individual choice, and help residents maintain routines that feel natural and familiar.

About You

You’re someone who brings warmth, patience and genuine care to every interaction. You enjoy supporting older people and understand the importance of dignity, choice and respect. You’re adaptable, a good communicator, and comfortable working within a team.

You'll also have:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or completion of at least the first year of Registered Nurse training

  • Physical capacity to perform care duties safely

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn

  • Strong communication skills with residents, families and colleagues

  • Alignment with BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values

  • Availability to work shifts during September and October, which is essential for roster coverage in this casual role
