About the role:

As a Clinical Educator at BaptistCare David Buttfield Centre in Gwelup, you’ll play a key role in supporting our staff to deliver safe, high-quality care to our residents.

Reporting to the Clinical Education Lead, you’ll plan, deliver and evaluate engaging training programs, ensuring staff remain up to date with mandatory requirements while supporting their ongoing professional development.

You’ll coordinate site-based education, facilitate staff inductions, support manual handling training, maintain accurate learning records and provide compliance reporting. You’ll also work closely with leaders, internal teams and external providers to ensure training is relevant, accessible and effective.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you can use your clinical expertise, education skills and leadership experience to make a meaningful difference to our staff and the quality of care we provide to our residents.

Roster:

  • Monday to Thursday | 08:30–16:30
  • Flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ experience in residential aged care and/or acute care.
  • Experience delivering training, education sessions or learning and development programs.
  • Strong understanding of clinical education and staff development.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work effectively to meet organisational goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • A customer-focused approach and commitment to achieving key performance outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical compliance requirements.

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • Experience using Telstra Health iCare or similar clinical systems.
