About the Role

BaptistCare Orana Centre is seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, helping to create a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of older people in our care.

This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is passionate about making a positive difference each day.

Supervisor/team leader experience is highly desirable.

Week 1

• Monday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 11:00am
• Sunday: 7:00am - 11:00am

Week 2

• Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 11:00am
• Saturday: 7:00am - 11:00am
• Sunday: 7:00am - 11:00am

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• Previous cleaning experience
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• A friendly and approachable manner when interacting with residents and colleagues
• Physical capability to undertake cleaning duties
• Previous supervisory experience (highly desirable)
