We’re thrilled to offer two full-time, continuing academic positions—one at  Lecturer  and one at  Associate Professor level—for passionate educators and researchers who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the field of speech-language pathology. Whether your focus is education, research, or a combination of both, we welcome your expertise and enthusiasm.

About you:

You’re a dedicated educator and researcher ready to shape the future of Speech Pathology. You bring expertise in one or more of the focus areas listed above and a commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practice.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across various modes, including interactive workshops and virtual classrooms
  • Integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical expertise into engaging, practical learning experiences
  • Prepare students for real-world challenges through comprehensive education and training
  • Conduct innovative research that informs and enhances teaching practices
  • Equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and clinical skills to thrive in diverse settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in both classroom and clinical environments
  • Contribute to curriculum development and delivery within the Speech Pathology discipline
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance academic initiatives and research
  • Stay up to date with developments in your field to ensure relevant, evidence-based teaching

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A PhD in Speech Pathology, or a Master’s degree with a commitment to pursuing a PhD
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
