About the opportunity:

 The Healthy Environments and Lives (HEAL) Global Research Centre, part of the Health Research Institute (HRI) at the University of Canberra, is dedicated to building a healthier and more sustainable future through strategic collaboration and research. Our interdisciplinary team addresses pressing public and environmental health issues, including chronic diseases, climate change, and pollution.

We are seeking a dynamic Communications and Engagement Coordinator to support the HEAL National Research Network and other national and international research projects.

In this dynamic role, you will –

  • Coordinate and deliver engaging content across HEAL’s communication channels, including newsletters, social media, policy briefs, and websites.
  • Build and nurture relationships with researchers, government agencies, industry, and community organisations.
  • Promote HEAL’s work through events, conferences, and engagement initiatives that translate research into real-world impact.
  • Support collaborative projects and communications across HEAL’s national and international networks.

We are looking for someone with excellent writing, verbal and digital communication skills, who thrives in collaborative environment and is passionate about improving health and environmental outcomes through knowledge sharing.
