About the opportunity:

The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced and proactive Manager, Business Operations to lead the Business Operations Team within Student Connect. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of student-related processing activities from enrolment to course completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional service experience for students and staff.

You will bring a proven track record of building strong, collaborative relationships which deliver win-win outcomes for diverse stakeholder groups.  You will provide strong leadership, drive operational excellence, and manage complex student and staff enquiries with professionalism and care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building efficient systems, leading engaged teams, and is continuously improving processes that enhance the student experience in meaningful and measurable ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Business Operations team within Student Connect.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to building strong working relationships and ensure the accurate management of student data and business processes in line with university and government requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with business specialists within the Business Support and Innovation team (BSIT) to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement and cross skilling within the Business Operations team to ensure all processes are efficient and service focussed.
