About the opportunity:

Working under the direction of the Communications Manager, you will share the stories that reflect the University’s impact. As a Communications Coordinator, you will help share the voices of our students, staff, and researchers with the world.

You will craft compelling content across digital platforms, manage media opportunities, and bring energy to everything from social campaigns to event coverage, all while contributing to the University’s bold and vibrant communications strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Producing engaging and strategic content across UC-owned channels.
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the University and beyond, to develop and implement communications opportunities.
  • Media liaison and media pitching of experts and stories.
  • Strategically aligning content with the Media and Communications Strategy.

About you:

  • Very strong writing skills, with overall excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, to meet multiple projects’ objectives and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative approach.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with content creation for multiple platforms.
