About the opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded Indigenous Student Recruitment & Events Coordinator to join the Ngunnawal Centre, working closely with the Domestic Student Recruitment team.

This is an active, people-facing role where you will spend a significant amount of time travelling, representing UC at career expos, school visits, community engagements, and recruitment events, promoting the Ngunnawal Centre and pathways for Indigenous students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of Indigenous student recruitment and enhance the experience of Indigenous students at UC.
  • Develop and deliver on-campus events and activities in collaboration with the Ngunnawal Centre and recruitment colleagues.
  • Travel locally and interstate to represent UC at exhibitions, school engagements, conferences, partner events, and community activities.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to Indigenous student recruitment programs.

 

About You:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage (essential).
  • Confident engaging with community, students, and stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present to small and large groups.
  • Hold an Australian Driver’s Licence.
