About the role:
The University of Canberra is seeking an Early Learning Educator to join the Wiradjuri Preschool to support the development and delivery of a high-quality education and care program.
Working collaboratively within a dedicated team, you will contribute to inclusive, culturally respectful and child-centred learning experiences that respond to both individual and group needs.
Key responsibilities:
Build strong, respectful relationships with children that foster trust, security and meaningful engagement.
Ensure all practices and activities comply with National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework v2.0, Work Health and Safety and Child Protection legislation, and organisational policies and values.
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of inclusive programs that promote meaningful engagement and development for all children.
Work in partnership with families, valuing their insights into their child’s development, interests and cultural context.
About you:
You are a passionate and experienced early childhood educator who brings professionalism, care and reflective practice to your work.
You have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), with demonstrated experience as an Educator in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting. You must have current Working with Vulnerable People registration, a Senior First Aid Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training), and either current Child Protection training or a willingness to undertake this upon appointment.
