Technical Business Analyst

Location:

Noida, India

Purpose:

The Technical Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert and a trusted analyst, focusing on how solutions align with business needs. This role will articulate complex rules and work within challenging environments alongside intelligent, like-minded professionals. As the business evolves, this position will grow in tandem, contributing to the definition of new service and technology offerings while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:

The responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating business requirements gathering and user story mapping.
  • Analyzing business requirements, management systems, process performance, and technical solutions.
  • Conducting gap analyses and providing actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Defining detailed product requirement documents that promote scalability, best practices, and an intuitive user experience.
  • Documenting requirements by studying business functions, gathering information from users, and evaluating outputs.
  • Collaborating with engineers, solution architects, and test teams to develop, test, and implement platform features and bug fixes.
  • Identifying key business/system processes, business rules, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Assisting with the configuration and development of system enhancements and innovative solutions.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical business analysis within software development.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with large-scale websites or e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask while maintaining focus.
  • Basic understanding of the systems/software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills for conducting virtual meetings and workshops.
  • Proficient in quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including solution definition, business process flows, impact analysis, problem resolution, and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, effective organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
