MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria: 

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
  
• Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
  
• Proven ability as an effective team member
  
• Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
• Ability to understand the work environment by learning quickly to use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies.
• Supports productive working relationships by performing cleaning duties with minimal supervision and actively participating as a team member.
• Displays personal drive and integrity.
• Awareness of the need for security with rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
