Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement Services, assist with all areas of Advancement Services programing. Serve as the lead for prospect research and administration and data reporting and analysis. Maintain an in-depth understanding of Advancement processes and systems. Provide assistance to data processor specialist or gift administration specialist during times of need. Work closely with Senior Director of Advancement Services to support strategic initiatives of Advancement.

Required Minimum Work Experience: One year of experience in advancement, fundraising, non-profit, prospect research, research, report writing, data analysis, or data analytics.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Proficient with administrative procedures including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet, and web-based applications.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new software and skills.

Ability to maintain confidential donor and prospect information.

Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of University computer programs and systems.
Experience with Banner, Cognos, or GiveCampus.
Basic understanding of Advancement Services as a functional area for fundraising and alumni relations.
Basic understating of SQL.
Knowledge of database maintenance, reporting, and quality control measures.
Ability to appraise the quality of data from varied sources.
Experience with prospect research tools and screenings such as LexisNexis, LiveAlumni, Windfall, WealthEngine, etc.
Ability to re-prioritize high-level workload on a daily basis.
