Work Schedule: Variable shift/variable days depending upon playing schedule, recruiting demands and department events.
Salary: Targeted salary range: $57,000-$60,000
Travel: 10-25%
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Direct, organize, coach and administer the women's wrestling program.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Degree Area:
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Possess a current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Demonstrated successful wrestling coaching experience as a head coach or an assistant coach at the NCAA Division I, II or III level, the NAIA level, or as a head coach at a junior college, elite club or high school level.
No prior involvement with NCAA major rules violations.
Demonstrated commitment to the academic success of student athletes.
On- and off-campus recruitment of student athletes.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Knowledge
Knowledge of NCAA and conference compliance rules.
Education and Training-Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Administration and Management-Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
