About the Role

As the Cyber Awareness Engagement Specialist at HBF, you will play a crucial role in driving the organisation's cyber security efforts by working closely with the Technology and Cyber, HBF Business, and Wellness Partners. Your primary focus will be on enhancing cyber resilience and awareness through the development and implementation of HBF Cyber Care initiatives, including tailored training programs. Additionally, you will manage key metrics and reporting related to the organisation's cyber security culture, produce engaging content across various platforms, and support targeted education efforts in high-risk areas. In collaboration with the Technology Risk and Communications teams, you will deliver key cyber-related messaging to both staff and HBF members, contributing to a stronger, more resilient cyber culture. Based in our modern CBD office, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can significantly impact our organisation's cyber security posture.

 

About You

You are an experienced professional in Cyber Security and Risk Management with a strong understanding of reporting, metrics, and training. You possess:

  • Proven experience in similar roles (Cyber Security, Risk Management, Technical Training).
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security and Risk Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering content for training and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer service focus and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of APRA CPS234 and CPS230 standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Position Accountabilities

  • Drive cyber security strategy, manage project risks, and ensure compliance.
  • Enhance resilience through HBF Cyber Care, develop engaging content, and run simulations.
  • Guide the business in cyber security and lead the HBF Cyber Champion program.
  • Build relationships with cyber security experts and collaborate on initiatives.
  • Identify efficiencies in cyber security practices.
  • Create and maintain training programs and eLearning content.
  • Identify cyber risks and translate technical issues into business terms.
  • Develop and refine metrics and reporting, ensuring useful stakeholder information.
