As the Head of Performance and Reward, you will play a key leadership role in the Performance, Reward and Insights team. Responsible for establishing and streamlining practices, frameworks, systems, processes and job infrastructure you will ensure that HBF develops a high-performance accountability culture.

This role is a partner to the GM Performance Reward and Insights in the oversight and governance of HBF, reporting on policy and governance matters across the group. You’ll drive improvements in people practices through targeted analytics, establishing an exceptional human capital insights practice.

About you
You are a commercially minded, influential and experienced leader who uses their remuneration expertise to provide analytical insights while building a stronger accountability culture.

You translate strategic objectives into operational plans and are confident in creating and presenting to Senior leaders on P&CA policies displaying your skills in the application of Remuneration, Rewards and Analytics.

Together with your small team of policy, reward, people systems and human capital insights experts you build strong and trusted relationships across the People team and broader business.  

What you bring

  • Internal rewards experience preferable within financial services
  • Demonstrated experience as leader of an expert team passionate about driving high-quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated achievements in strategic, tactical and operational areas of generalist HR management
  • Experience in the people elements of corporate transactions, including due diligence through to strategy, planning and implementation of mergers and acquisitions
