About the Opportunity:
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for operational excellence? As the Head of Operations Excellence at HBF, you will lead strategic initiatives to enhance our health insurance operations. Your role will involve optimising processes, driving technology simplification, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and executives to champion initiatives that drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement process optimisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive technology simplification efforts to streamline operations and reduce complexity.
- Ensure the optimal use of existing technology investments by consolidating and integrating systems where possible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for process improvements.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of process optimisation and technology simplification initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with process and technology changes to maintain the organisation's risk profile.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Operations Excellence team and collaborate with stakeholders both in Technology & Cyber teams and the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
About You:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt accreditation, or equivalent certification, is required.
- ITIL Foundation or other relevant IT certifications will be advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial services IT management, with a focus on technology optimisation and operations.
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership and team development.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and technology systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation.
