About the Role  
As the EVE Squad Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery and operational excellence of the EVE Squad within HBF’s Member Connect Tribe. You will lead day-to-day squad activities, ensuring backlog readiness, sprint execution, and alignment with strategic objectives. Acting as a key liaison between stakeholders and the squad, you’ll manage dependencies, clear blockers, and maintain delivery momentum. This role also deputises for the Product Owner when needed, fostering agile ways of working and championing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the squad’s delivery planning and execution, ensuring backlog health and sprint readiness
  • Managing stakeholder communications, cross-squad dependencies, and escalating blockers to maintain momentum
  • Making tactical product and service decisions within strategic guardrails and providing business acceptance at the feature level
  • Supporting go-to-market activities, internal enablement, and change impacts for staff
  • Championing agile practices and driving continuous improvement across squad operations
  • Deputising for the Product Owner, ensuring alignment with product vision and Tribe OKRs

About You 
You’re a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for agile delivery and continuous improvement. With strong stakeholder management skills and a strategic mindset, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable making delivery decisions that drive member value. You bring a mix of technical understanding, business acumen, and people leadership to guide your squad toward impactful outcomes.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience in agile delivery leadership within a digital or CRM platform environment (Salesforce experience is desirable)
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and decision-making skills with a focus on member value and strategic alignment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage dependencies, clear blockers, and maintain delivery momentum
  • Demonstrated ability to foster psychological safety, collaboration, and capability uplift within teams
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
