As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in sourcing and negotiating IT goods and services that power our business, from software and hardware to cloud solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
You’ll act as a trusted business partner to IT Contract Owners and Managers, ensuring we get the best value from our technology suppliers while maintaining compliance with procurement policies, IT governance, and cybersecurity standards.
What you’ll do
- Lead sourcing and evaluation for IT projects, cloud migrations, and digital solutions—running RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Advise and guide stakeholders on procurement processes, compliance, and risk management under HBF’s Third Party Risk Management Framework
- Negotiate contracts in partnership with our Legal team, ensuring agreements deliver value and meet regulatory and HBF standards
- Manage supplier relationships and contract renewals, keeping records accurate and up-to-date
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, digital workflows, and supplier performance analytics
- Mentor colleagues and champion best practice procurement across the organisation
About You
You’re a confident communicator who thrives on building strong relationships and influencing decisions. You love the challenge of negotiating complex IT contracts and finding innovative ways to deliver value for money.
You bring a mix of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and a collaborative mindset, you're someone who can think strategically while rolling up your sleeves to make things happen. You'll also have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Procurement to Pay (P2P) processes, and procurement software.
- Knowledge of cloud services, SaaS agreements, cybersecurity, and IT governance is a bonus.
