North Idaho College is hiring two Assistant Professors of Associate Degree Nursing, one tenure-track and one special appointment. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing education that meets accreditation and licensure standards.
The successful candidate will teach 15 credit hours per semester, advise nursing students, lead campus lab and clinical instruction, and participate in curriculum development. Responsibilities also include engaging in student recruitment, committee service, and maintaining strong relationships with clinical partners, licensing bodies, and the broader healthcare community. Instruction may be delivered in traditional, online, and interactive formats using platforms such as Zoom and learning management systems.
Strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning are essential. Your contributions will help prepare students to become safe, ethical, and compassionate nurses who communicate effectively, think critically, and meet the health care needs of their communities. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing; professional and/or teaching experience in nursing; recent medical/surgical clinical experience (within the last three years) is required. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must be able to obtain a multi-state RN license in Idaho or Washington
Starting annual pay range: $71,910 - $87,944
