North Idaho College’s Molstead Library is hiring a Library Circulation/Interlibrary Loan Supervisor to lead daily operations at the circulation desk and oversee all aspects of interlibrary loan (ILL) services. In this role, you’ll supervise and train student and part-time employees, manage schedules and workflows, oversee the borrowing and lending of materials, and support users with equipment like copiers, scanners, and public computers. If you love working with people, juggling details, and supporting student success, this could be your perfect spot.

You’ll also maintain patron records, prepare reports and statistics, manage the circulation cash till, and collaborate with librarians and IT to refine processes in our library systems. You may serve at the information desk, occasionally assist students with research, contribute to social media content, and help develop student handouts and library materials. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming, well-organized environment that supports student success.

We’re looking for someone with strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a calm, professional presence in a busy setting. You should be proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable learning new systems, and able to use good judgment when resolving issues with students, faculty, and the public. Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: 
Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time equivalent experience in library circulation, library service programming, or other library department required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required License and/or Certifications:
Completion of Alma Administration Certification will be required within the first year of employment.

Starting pay range: $44,548 - $53,458

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
