About the role:

This is a full-time permanent position (35 hours per week) located in North Parramatta NSW. Starting base annual salary $91,297 plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options.

About the opportunity:

As a Newpin Play Facilitator, you will be a beacon of support for families working to restore or preserve their relationships with their children. You will create safe, nurturing play environments for children who have experienced trauma, guiding parents and children through the process of healing and reconnection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Therapeutic Play: Create engaging, trauma-informed play experiences that foster healing and emotional growth for children and their families.
  • Parent Support: Empower parents to build positive relationships with their children through hands-on guidance, knowledge-sharing, and emotional support.
  • Collaborative Advocacy: Be a champion for families by connecting them to vital community resources and services, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every family.

Your Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also compassionate and ready to step into a role where you can truly make a difference. If you have a background in early childhood education, child welfare, or therapeutic play, and a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice, this is your opportunity to shine.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in early childhood, childcare, welfare or related
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with children and families.
  • Current NSW WWCC
