You will be the linchpin that coordinates Board and Sub-Committee papers, supports strategic projects, and maintains strong relationships across the organisation.

You'll be part of a strong, supportive team, working alongside a dedicated group of Executive Officers, providing plenty of opportunities for collaboration and shared success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes to manage the flow of information to and from the Director, ensuring knowledge management is consistent, timely, and efficient.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence for Director-led initiatives.
  • Proactively track internal and external developments, ensuring the Director is well-informed with relevant, timely information.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic objectives, ensuring cohesive efforts across teams.

What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of expertise in a similar role, ideally in a complex organisation.
  • Aptitude for ‘managing up’, with an ability to apply tact and sensitivity whilst remaining outcomes focused, eliciting buy-in from senior executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex structures and manage relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to support decision-making involving large budgets.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and facilitating leadership events or executive roadshows.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Social Media.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with senior executives, creating a sense of team amongst executives managing diverse portfolios.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to speak with confidence on behalf of and representing senior executives.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage through influence rather than authority.

Desirable Experience:

  • Broad experience in advisory roles within government, business, or peak body organisations.
  • Experience in supporting Boards and executives, such as a Company Secretary role.
