This role is Fulltime for a 6-month contract, with possibility to extend with an immediate start.

About Us

Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for local families in Byford, Darling Downs, Oakford and Whitby. Great Beginnings Byford offers long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 98 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

About You – What You Bring to the Team

• You hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• You have a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• You bring proven experience working with children aged 0–5 in an early childhood setting
• You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person
• You hold a current Working with Children Check
• You have a valid First Aid certificate
• Full-time availability is a plus and opens up more opportunities to grow with us
