About Us

Great Beginnings Gilles Plains offers long day care and a Preschool program for children aged 6 weeks to school age, supporting families across Gilles Plains and surrounding Adelaide suburbs. Our centre is known for its warm, welcoming culture and commitment to high-quality early learning.

You’ll be part of a stable, experienced team that creates a safe, nurturing, and home-like environment where children feel confident to explore and grow. Our spacious outdoor areas—including a bike track, water play, climbing fort, and vegetable garden—encourage active, hands-on learning, while our thoughtfully designed indoor spaces spark curiosity and creativity.

Our Government-approved Preschool program and tailored Individual Learning Plans ensure every child’s development is supported and celebrated. With enriching learning experiences, fresh meals prepared daily, and strong family partnerships, this is a centre where your work truly makes an impact.

With capacity for 105 children and operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm, we offer a dynamic, supportive environment for both families and educators.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved  Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved childcare qualification)
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• A current Working with Children Check 
• First Aid certificate
