The Opportunity 

An exciting 12-month contract (parental leave cover) opportunity to join our Digital Solutions team, leading the delivery of key technology initiatives and contributing to G8 Education’s strategic priorities.

The Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of G8 Education’s technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business priorities, deliver measurable value, and support operational efficiency across the organisation.

This role forms part of the Digital Solutions Senior Leadership Team and plays a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide technology initiatives.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved.

About the Role

The Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the Digital Solutions technology portfolio, ensuring projects and initiatives are aligned with business objectives, deliver measurable value, and support the organisation’s growth. The role works closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to prioritise technology initiatives, manage delivery frameworks, and ensure strong governance and reporting across the portfolio.

This role forms part of the Digital Solutions Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making, portfolio prioritisation and the overall direction of technology delivery across the organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at both strategic and operational levels, balancing multiple technology programs while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a small team of technology delivery professionals, fostering collaboration, capability development and high performance.
• Lead the management of the Digital Solutions technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with business strategy and deliver value.
• Oversee the planning, delivery and governance of technology projects and programs.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and maintain a long-term technology roadmap.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risks and opportunities, ensuring transparency and effective reporting.
• Manage budget oversight, financial performance and ROI analysis across technology initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships across the business to ensure technology solutions support operational needs and strategic priorities.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement aligned with G8’s values.

About You

• Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to guide, support and develop team members
• Significant experience in technology portfolio or project/program management
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale technology initiatives
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance and ROI tracking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions
• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, with project management certification highly regarded
