    • Full time Temporary role, 38 Hours per week – up to 3 years
    • LLS Grade 6 starting at $110,266 + super & leave 
    • Location: Preference for Cooma NSW however can be negotiable within regional NSW   

South East Local Land Services (LLS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of agreed projects in the Upper Murrumbidgee River. These projects are critical to addressing the decline in river health, improving water quality, and enhancing habitat for threatened species. 

About the Role 

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing a suite of environmental restoration and river health projects. This includes: 

  • Leading teams & project coordination to ensure milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. 
  • Managing relationships and reporting obligations with project proponents and the Commonwealth Government. 
  • Facilitating collaboration between stakeholders including landholders, government, and community groups. 
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on project outcomes. 
  • Ensuring LLS’s obligations under funding agreements are met and well documented including licences, subcontracts ect

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

  • Proven experience in project planning and delivery and Risk Management. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports and briefs. 
  • Sound understanding of the rural sector and the challenges of regional delivery. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change. 
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required.
