NSW Resources are looking for a Project Officer to join the Future Jobs and Investment Authority team.

About the role

Working as part of the team responsible for establishing the Future Jobs and Investment Authority, the Project Officer role provides a wide range of high-level project management, administrative and research activities to facilitate achievement of the Government’s objective of supporting coal-producing regions to realise new economic opportunities and employment.

 

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have knowledge of the coal sector and the impacts on local communities as they move from coal production towards other economic activities.

 

You’ll also need to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously provide a range of project management and support services.
  • Strong written and communication skills to maintain governance and project documentation and support key stakeholders in the delivery of Future Jobs and Investment Authority activities.
  • Experience evaluating operational policy and procedures to determine the need for corrective action and review.
  • Proven ability to undertake research, evaluation and analysis to support the broader governance framework for the Future Jobs and Investment Authority.
