About the Role
The Finance, Advisory, Performance and Procurement branch of Enabling Services is looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis.
As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in shaping strategic procurement decisions across DPIRD. Leveraging your analytical expertise, you will transform complex data from multiple sources into meaningful insights through cost modelling, business analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation. You will support the development of innovative procurement strategies, identify and manage commercial and operational risks, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement outcomes align with business needs.
Your day-to-day will involve using advanced analytical tools and procurement systems to assess supplier performance, analyse trends, and contribute to sourcing strategies. You'll also lead procurement-related initiatives, ensure timely reporting, and support continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations.
About You
To excel in this role, you will be a critical thinker with a knack for solving complex procurement challenges. Your ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences will be one of your strengths. You will need to be confident in navigating procurement systems and tools, using them not just for reporting but to uncover actionable insights. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you thrive in cross-functional environments, working with vendors, government agencies, and internal teams alike. Strong project management skills enable you to handle multiple priorities while keeping projects on track and aligned with business goals.
