  • Temporary Full-time until December 2026 

  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour

  • Clerk Grade 7/8 salary starting from $113,574 plus superannuation.  

 

About the Role 

The role undertakes project management and supports activities to contribute to the development and implementation of projects and programs to build thriving and resilient communities, by attracting key workers to regional NSW and giving them good reason to stay. 

 

What we are looking for! 

We’re looking for someone who can navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and deliver consistent project outcomes with minimal direction. 

If successful for this role your main responsibilities would include, but not limited to: 

  • Managing end to end procurement, travel bookings, and financial administration (including payments and reimbursement reconciliations) 

  • Providing strategic administrative and operational support to the Essential Worker Attraction team 

  • Coordinating event logistics and supplier engagement, including sourcing competitive quotes, drafting scopes of work, and managing service agreements with external vendors 

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with departmental systems and processes 

  • Develop and compile reports, briefing materials, meeting documentation, and data-driven spreadsheets to support informed decision-making. 

  • Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery 

  • Supporting contract management and project tracking, including using internal systems such as Salesforce and CM10 

Your ability to act professionally and with integrity is essential in this role as you will be balancing the values and agendas of external stakeholders.
