  • Clerk Grade 9/10 – Salary from $125,693 to $138,510 per annum plus super and leave loading

About the Role
The Senior Climate Risk Officer supports the Climate Change Risk Manager by collaborating on project development and implementation, creating resources and engaging stakeholders to build climate risk awareness across DPIRD. The position involves preparing documentation, analysing data to identify emerging issues, providing climate risk management support to various groups, and contributing to the integration of climate risk management within the broader DPIRD risk framework.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Strong understanding of relevant State government climate change legislation, strategy, and policy.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and system change management.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills, accountable for quality and accurate advice.
  • Proven experience in risk management, including climate risk assessment and application.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder consultation, negotiation, and collaboration.
