Local Land Services is a regional-focused NSW Government agency delivering quality customer services to farmers, landholders and the wider community. We help people make better decisions about the land they manage and assist rural and regional communities to be profitable and sustainable into the future. 

We connect people with groups, information, support and funding to improve agricultural productivity and better manage our natural resources.  

What will you be responsible for? 

As our Customer Service Coordinator, you'll need to be a proven supervisor who can lead and coordinate a team of office-based customer service staff across a number of regional locations, as well as assist the Team Leader with day to day operations of the business unit and Central West regional needs. You will also need to be able to assist the customer service team members during peak periods.

What you need to do this role; 

  • Ability to provide advice and analysis on customer service projects and service delivery 
  • Ability to monitor, analyse, evaluate, and report on customer service activities 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and staff across the business 
  • Ability to identify improvement strategies for business delivery and ability to troubleshoot or implement quick changes to ensure business continuity 
  • Proven supervisory skills and ability to lead and coordinate a remote team of staff 
  • Ability to provide timely, consistent, and effective frontline client services to our stakeholders and partners 
  • Ability to provide advice to your managers and contribute to the development and implementation of processes, plans, and procedures 
  • Have a current NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel throughout the region. You may be required to overnight dependent on workloads and your office location. 

Our ideal candidate will love to be busy. You’ll also need to be proactive, tech savvy and organised whilst working in a high volume business service delivery and customer focussed environment. You will be very hands on in this role and it is best suited to someone extremely passionate about their work and who can promote positive team culture with a proactive team player attitude.

What is the process?
