About the Role 

In this diverse and rewarding role, you will deliver critical frontline services to landholders and stakeholders for Riverina LLS – combining agricultural productivity, natural resource management, and emergency response. You’ll manage impactful projects, provide expert advice, and build partnerships that deliver real, on-ground outcomes. 

Working as part of our Regional Delivery team, your work will directly contribute to better land management practices, stronger rural industries, and more sustainable communities. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver high-quality advisory and extension services to stakeholders 
  • Write reports and plans (including pest management plans) to a high level tacking into account strategic and operational issues 
  • Collaborate across teams and with community and industry groups 
  • Analyse data, prepare reports, and provide sound recommendations including the mid term review of the Riverina strategic pest animal management plan 
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic planning 
 

What We’re Looking For 

You’ll be an experienced and proactive professional with: 

  • A degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, natural resource management, biosecurity or environmental sciences 
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders 
  • Strong skills in communication, analysis, and problem-solving 
  • A passion for pest animal management and best practice 

Essential Requirements 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience 
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel 
  • Ability to undertake a police check and medical clearance
